Understand Operations
We learn about your activities, locations, processes and existing compliance arrangements.
Understand the workplace safety, environmental and regulatory obligations that apply to your operations, assess how you measure up, and get a clear path for improving compliance with Compliancehelp’s environmental health and safety inspections. We offer our services in Australia, the United States and other selected international locations.
We design our environmental health and safety inspections to give organizations a clearer understanding of how regulatory requirements translate into day-to-day responsibilities. We review relevant workplace activities, existing controls, records, and management practices so potential compliance concerns can be identified before they become larger operational issues.
Tell us a little about your organization and what you need assessed.
Compliancehelp identifies applicable occupational health, safety and environmental requirements and conducts structured assessments to identify strengths, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Effective safety and environmental compliance support should do more than identify problems. It should help your team understand what needs attention, why it matters, and what practical steps to take next. We organize findings into clear priorities so managers can focus resources on the areas that present the greatest compliance or operational concern.
We look at how requirements apply to your actual operations, review the controls and evidence you have in place, and identify where attention is needed.
The result is a practical view of your compliance position and a clear set of actions your organization can work through.
Talk to Compliancehelp →This approach also helps create a useful baseline for ongoing improvement. Organizations can use the findings to strengthen internal responsibilities, improve documentation, monitor corrective actions, and support more consistent compliance management over time.
The exact scope is tailored to your activities, locations and regulatory needs.
A straightforward process designed to tell you what applies, where you stand and what should happen next.

Some compliance work benefits strongly from being onsite. Other activities can be completed efficiently using documents, interviews, photographs and video walkthroughs.
Useful where physical conditions, workplace practices, equipment, storage, environmental controls or employee activities need direct observation.
Documentation, registers, records, interviews and suitable photo/video evidence can allow many compliance elements to be assessed remotely.
Combine onsite inspection with remote preparation, reporting and follow-up to use consulting time efficiently.
For organizations certified to ISO 14001 or ISO 45001, EHS compliance activities can also support the management system rather than becoming a separate exercise.
Connect environmental obligations, compliance evaluations, operational controls and improvement actions with your Environmental Management System.
Connect OH&S obligations, workplace inspections, risks, incidents and corrective actions with your OH&S Management System.
Where 9001, 14001 and 45001 are integrated, findings and actions can be managed through the same practical management-system structure.
Most of our safety and environmental compliance work is performed in Australia and the United States, and we have also supported clients in other countries. We tailor each assessment to the jurisdiction, location and activities being reviewed rather than applying one country’s terminology or requirements everywhere.
In Australia, this may include WHS or OHS legislation, regulations, Codes of Practice and environmental obligations applicable to the relevant state or territory. In the United States, the scope may include OSHA and applicable federal, state and local environmental or safety requirements. For work in other countries, the applicable jurisdiction and requirements are agreed as part of the scope.
Use Compliancehelp for a one-time assessment, periodic inspections, corrective-action support, or ongoing safety and environmental compliance assistance.
Organizations can also use their existing systems or optionally connect activities through Compliancehelp Hub.
Not necessarily. The scope can focus specifically on legal and regulatory compliance, workplace/environmental conditions, or it can be designed to support your ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 management system.
Many elements can be assessed remotely using documentation, interviews, photographs and video walkthroughs. Where direct observation of workplace or environmental conditions is important, onsite inspection may be recommended.

Yes. The terminology and legal framework differ by jurisdiction. Australian work is scoped around the applicable WHS or OHS requirements and environmental obligations for the relevant jurisdiction; US work can include OSHA and applicable federal, state and local requirements. We establish the applicable requirements for the locations being assessed rather than treating OSHA as a universal framework.
